Practical network training on the integration of Cisco Nexus switches
A new addition to the Fast Lane training programme: "Implementing the Cisco Nexus 5000 & 2000 (DCNX5K)"
Hamburg/Berlin, Germany, 27 July 2011 – Fast Lane (www.flane.de), a Cisco Learning Solutions Partner, has expanded its range of training courses. !Configuring Cisco Nexus 5000 Switches (DCNX5K) provides participants with important knowledge on the use of Cisco Nexus switches in network and SAN (Storage Area Network) environments. The course is specifically aimed at network designers, administrators and engineers, as well as systems engineers, technical consultants and Cisco integrators and partners.
The focus of this five-day training course is on the key components and procedures required to install, configure, manage and troubleshoot Nexus switches in networks and SAN environments. After providing an overview of the product, the Fast Lane trainers, amongst other things, give more detail on the functions of a Nexus 5000 switch that are relevant to network configuration and system management. A substantial part of the course also looks at the FCoE protocol (Fibre Channel over Ethernet) and its optimal configuration. At the end, the participants can put theory into practice and test their knowledge in a number of laboratory exercises.
